Story

Born at just 26 weeks weighing just 1 lb 12 oz Emily couldn’t wait to meet everyone. From day one she proved to be a determined little girl with no need for a ventilator and kicking her tiny legs non-stop. For her first 6 ½ weeks Emily was cared for by the amazing staff at Ashford Hospital who not only looked after Emily but looked after us as well. She was then transferred nearer home to Southend hospital for a further 3 ½ weeks. 10 weeks after Emily was born we were able to bring her home on 27th September. Emily has brought so many people love, joy & happiness she is such a happy little girl who loves cuddles and has the biggest blue eyes & longest lashes. We are not sure what she loves more, her sleep, her thumb, her food (like her Dad) or practising her swimming whilst we give her a bath, soaking us in the process. We are so proud of our little girl and would like to thank you all for your love & support. We would really appreciate if you can make a donation to Emily's Sunshine Fund so that other babies & parents can benefit from the work Bliss do.
